Tuesday the 28th September 2004 marks the day when I get on a plane bound for far off places and the adventures that are found there.

4 weeks ago I resigned from my job, not that there was a problem with it, just I didn't want to do it any more, and felt my time could be spent enjoying the sun and the sea. Not that there isn't a lot of reasons to stay in Vancouver, just its a big world out there to explore.

I have no real plan, plans involve stress and time and all sorts of other things, and I figure you don't get many opportunities in life to be free of all this, at least for a little while. I do however have a theme, I call this the "Summer of Sailing".

Kinda corny I know, but it does bring a certain focus....
Continuing on from adventures in Canada in the spring, sailing to Hawaii in the summer, and Big Boat Series in San Francisco in the fall, I am heading out to the Mediterranean for a month or so, and progressing to the Caribbean, followed by the south pacific, and maybe the middle east.

Looking forward to getting emails of your news, or maybe seeing some of you on my travels.... Jamie
